The power couple, Melissa Behring & Jake Tobias, formerly known as 7 Million Jigawatts provide live acoustic music interpretations of popular Rock, Pop, R&B and Country songs spanning the past seven decades.
Some compare them to a modern day Sonny & Cher, but we all know ladies first and Melissa won’t let Jake learn how to ski.
Melissa and Jake blend smooth vocal harmonies with highly crafted instrumental skills to produce unique acoustic renditions of cherished favorites from almost every style and genre.
Their career together began in 2003 with the rock & soul band “7 Million Jigawatts,” performing at festivals and clubs around the midwest. Their first single, “I’ve Got You Covered”, was featured in an advertising campaign for the 2010 Ford Mustang.
In 2011, Melissa & Jake began performing exclusively on Princess Cruises ships, in The New Deal Band and spent nearly seven years entertaining audiences around the globe.
Since returning to land in 2017, they have been delighting audiences in their home state of Michigan as a duo, trio and sometimes a full band.
Their vast musical experience delivers dynamic spirited performances filled with their exclusive brand of joviality and musical prowess.
